Farabi Exchange Program commenced as of the 2009-2010 academic year in the universities in Turkey. This program aims at student and faculty exchange and credit transfer among the higher education institutions in Turkey, which is financed and coordinated by the Turkish Council of Higher Education (YÖK). During the 2017-2018 academic year, Yıldız Technical University currently has 80 protocols with state and foundation universities.
